Looking for a new game to play? Well, you’re in the right place as we look at 5 of the most exciting games arriving in 2016.

In no particular order, we start things off with “Tom Clancy’s The Division.” This game has been getting everyone excited, since it was first announced. The Division is a third person shooter developed by Ubisoft. The idea behind this game is that you are in New York during Black Friday. A smallpox pandemic that was planted into bank notes, destroyed the USA Government in just five days. Your character is part of the Strategic Homeland Division and is trained to be independent, but can also work well in a team. The President has given The Homeland Division permission to save whatever remains from America. Your characters job is to clear all the threats of the virus. As you go across the game, you will meet characters that will help you such as the City Police. Also, you will meet not so kind people that will want you dead such as The Last Man Battalion.
The Division is getting released on March 8th on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. This game looks incredible and it will definitely be on my list of games to purchase in 2016.

The next game on this list is “Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens.” Wether you loved the film, or you hated it, you have to agree that you think this game will be great. I have been a fan of Lego turning movies into games since they first started doing it, so I was very excited when I heard about this game. The game is basically you control the characters in the movie as you guide them through the film. Now, this may sound quite boring if you have never played a Lego game before, but trust me, it is far from it. Once you play this game, or any Lego game for that matter, you will realise that they are not boring at all. The game releases on June 28th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii U, PlayStation Vita and Pc.

Thirdly, we have “Uncharted 4: A Theif’s End.” Uncharted 4, is the 4th and, probably, the final Uncharted in the main series. Before it, there has been Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception. Set a few years after Uncharted 3, Drake now lives a normal, happy life as a retired man with his wife Elena Fisher. His brother, Sam, who is thought to be dead, shatters all the peace in search for Drake’s help. From then on, they go in pursuit of an old pirate colony with the name of Libertaila. They are supposed to have lots of treasure for Drake and Sam to take. Uncharted 4 will also have a great multiplayer to go along with the equally great campaign. You can find out more about the multiplayer here: http://irrelevantgamer.com/uncharted-4-multiplayer-weekend/ . As I am writing this, the release date is May 10th. However, this might change in the future as there have been some delays and set backs to the game.

The next game on the list is “Hitman.” The popular series of action-adventure stealth video game, Hitman, is making a comeback in 2016. This will be the 6th game in the series and looks to be a great one, too. As with all Hitman games, you are Agent 47 and you have to kill contracted agents. Agent 47 is a highly trained assassin and can complete almost any assassination. There are many ways that you can complete each assassination which adds to the enjoy ability. Hitman, developed by IO Interactive, will release on March 11th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

The final game on the list is “Dark Souls 3.” Dark souls three expands on the previous two games very well. With larger maps for lots more exploration and fun times, as well as a lot more great character building, you can see why people are getting very hyped up about this game. There are some rumours saying this is the last of the incredibly hard series and some that disagree. As I write this, nothing is confirmed. Dark Souls 3, developed by FromSoftware, will be released world-wide on April 12 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

In conclusion, all of these great games are on my wish list for this year. Also, I understand that there are a lot more games coming out this year that look very good, so let me know in the comments which ones you’re going to be picking up that aren’t on this list.
