It’s no secret that Battlefront II is perhaps one of this year’s most anticipated titles, however, EA and DICE aren’t given any breaks when it comes to leaks surfacing online. Earlier today a post from a Reddit user by the name of Some Info revealed a new screenshot along with a 2-second gameplay footage which could possibly be the upcoming demo presentation that’ll be playable at next month’s E3 event—quite possibly the official demo itself. Before we go on ahead, note that all this is still categorized as “rumored” so much of what’s been spilled could all just be a ruse or simply false to a certain extent.
According the info revealed on Reddit, it looks like the upcoming demo would have two playable game modes. The first being a single player demo involving the game’s protagonist Iden Versio, while the second game mode will be its Multiplayer mode set in the planet of Naboo. Some Info also claims that Hero Characters will be available to play along with four different class type per-team. See the short 2-second clip down below.
The Reddit user also revealed a screenshot of what appears to be a Heavy (Prequel) Trooper loadout, which is still under development at DICE. From the image shown we can see a new interface and improvements to the game’s loadout menu and the classes that’ll become available to you. It’s still unclear whether one will need to purchase their items and cards through in-game credits—here’s hoping we don’t and we unlock our items and weapons the good’o fashion way—simply by ranking up.
Star Wars Battlefront II launches November 17th, for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. EA and DICE have confirmed that the game will be present at the upcoming E3 event.
