From Modern Warfare to VR
Activision revealed tons of new information for the upcoming new game; Call of Duty Infinite Warfare. From the game’s online mode, beta and an overview trailer. They’ve also released new footage of Modern Warfare’s Remastered online mode, confirming all original 16 maps to appear in the game. We’ve also got a closer look at a new VR simulation for IW and new single player footage.
New multiplayer footage for the game’s online mode. Along with the announcement of a Beta to begin on October 14th for all its available platforms. Call of Duty also released an Overview trailer, which details many of the game’s newest features.
Modern Warfare Remastered:
Activision finally confirmed that all original 16 maps will be present in the remastered version. However, the first 10 maps will be available at launch, the following 6 maps will come included in a free DLC in December.
Call of Duty VR:
Newly introduced to the series, Activision proudly announced a VR simulation game for PS4 owners. Those who purchase the game will receive the free Jackal Assault VR Mission.
“The first-ever Call of Duty PlayStation VR experience, will be offered later this year to Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare players on PS4 as a free, added bonus. Jackal Assault immerses fans in the cockpit and puts them in control of a Jackal, the personal fighter jet in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. Fans attending Call of Duty XP will get the chance to play Jackal Assault on-site at the event.”
IW Single Player:
And last but not least, new single player footage for IW was also revealed. Although watch at your own discretion, the trailer does show some minor spoilers. The single player does look neat, in all its Call of Duty fashion.
That concludes all that was announced at today’s Call of Duty XP Event. Infinite Warfare launches on November 14th, for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
