As teased last week—along with the countless leaked promo materials that have surfaced since then—Activision and Sledgehammer Games have officially revealed; Call of Duty: WWII. Along with its new trailer we also now know its official launch date of November 3rd, 2017.

This time around we’re dropped in the European theater in between the war years of ’44 and ’45, from D-Day in Normandy, Belgium, all the way to its close in Germany. The game will follow the story of the 1st Infantry Division, yet we’re also introduced to other characters with different nationalities like British Intelligence officer Crowley and French Resistance Leader Russeau. Much of the game’s main focus will be Private “Red” Daniels, a young recruit that lands on the beaches of Normandy along with his friend Robert Zussman, from then on Red’s fight only gets more and more hellish.
