South Korea developer Megusta Game released a new trailer for their upcoming 2D action game: Unsouled. The studio has also announced that the game will be present at this year’s BitSummit—a festival well known for Kyoto-based dedicated indie games. The trailer does its job in presenting us a mere glimpse at the game, features, and story is yet to be revealed—its gameplay nonetheless, focuses primarily on fast-paced, stylized combat mechanics.

An idea we do know is that much of the developer’s inspiration came from the 2002 Capcom game Onimusha 2: Samurai’s Destiny—you could almost see it as its spiritual successor. See its reveal trailer down below:
