The people at DreamScreen were so nice, they reached out to me and asked if I would like to review their product, and I said of course! So here is my review of the DreamScreen LED light Kit.
DreamScreen is the new kid on the block when it comes to LED light game but that does not mean they don’t know what they’re doing. Basically, the DreamScreen has 3 different modes:
Video mode is by far the coolest, the LED lights are responsive so they match the picture on the screen. So whatever colors are present on the screen the LED’s will display the exact colors. It’s amazing.
The LED lights dance to whatever audio is playing, this works really well especially when you’re playing music. You can also use any third party app to do this.
Ambient mode is your basic ambient lighting mode. You can choose any color you want from the color wheel provided in the app.
So I’ve had my unit for a couple weeks now and it is more than what I expected it would be. Watching Tv in the dark creates an immersive experience. I used Video mode for the majority of the time, I don’t listen to music that much on my tv, so when I used that mode it was just to test out the feature. Which worked great by the way.
Overall I liked this product but if there was one thing that I would change would be that this product came with a lot of pieces to hook up, and for someone who has a lot of things plugged up in one area it was kind of a struggle to get it set up. I had to unplug a few things and rearrange some things, so maybe in the future we could see a more wireless unit.
When DreamScreen first reached out to me they were just about to launch their Kickstarter Campaign, it is live now and I will definitely be backing up this product. Their campaign is already off to an amazing start so if you want to check it out I will link it below!
