Football Manager is due to release this November for PC, Linux and Mac. The developer, Sports Interactive, have confirmed with SEGA that the exact date will be November 4th. This announcement was made today at Gamescom.

SEGA and Sports Interactive also gave information on their other game Football Manager Touch 2017, a standalone, streamlined version of the main game. Even though Touch maybe a standalone title, it is also given as a bonus to those that preorder Football Manager 2017.

There is also other preorder bonuses including access to the 2 week early access beta version of Football Manager. You can also unlock different features into the game with the preorder, so this is a pretty good route to go down if you’re interested in buying Football Manager 2017.

With the release of Pro Evolution Soccer 2017 and FIFA 17 coming very soon, it is interesting to see how well this game does in the market. Then again, the majority of FIFA players wouldn’t enjoy the Football Manager style of game.

I would love to see games like this return to the PS Vita, as I feel a game like that needs to be portable.

both will release on November 4th.
