Jordan Peele, or more commonly known as simply “Peele” of the “Key & Peele” duo, has directed and written his very first horror movie. Initially, I didn’t know what to think of this.

I absolutely love his comedy – as I mentioned, Comedy Central’s Key & Peele was his most popular role, and for good reason – but, horror? Seems like an interesting move to me.

Anyway, something that caught my attention was the kind of publicity the film was receiving. Early viewers have been accusing Peele for creating a “racially charged” product, built to address societal issues concerning African Americans. Some have praised the movie for doing this, and others have denounced it; but regardless, I think it’s worth a watch.
