IO Interactive surprised HITMAN fans today by announcing new content will be coming to the 2016 game this month. Mark your calendar for two specific dates; October 13th and 24th, on the 13th we’ll be seeing ten new Featured Contracts as well a new Challenge Pack will become available on all platforms. A later content update which will also launch this month—will be a ten new player-curated feature contracts.
Now as of what’s to come in the announcement on the 24th, that’s still a mystery all in its self. IO Interactive has confirmed that the original content being announced does not coincide with Season 2—if that’s even a thing now. The chances of seeing a second season for HITMAN are incredibly slim, but boy would I cheer in utter joy to see new DLC content, however, with that in mind, what IO announced today would suffice.
