Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainmnet and developer Monolith Productions released a new gameplay video for the upcoming game; Middle-earth: Shadow of War. In this new trailer we’re shown the absolute incredible world of middle-earth based in the Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit lore.
We’re shown vast environments stretching beyond places like Mordor, along with newer environments including the Island of Nurn, Cirith Ungol, Gorgoroth and lots more. The developer have mention that in their innovative Nemesis System, “every player experiences a unique world to explore and share within every area of the world, more varied and more dynamic than ever before”
To get you back into J.R.R Tolkein wagon, Shadow of War is set between the events of The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings—and obviously picking up from the first game—Shadow of Mordor. With its upcoming sequel “players will be engrossed in a richer, more personal and expansive world full of epic heroes and villains, iconic locations, original enemy types, more personalities and a new cast of characters with untold stories.” Check out its brand new trailer down below:
Middle-earth: Shadow of War launches on August 22nd, 2o17 for PS4, PS4 Pro, Xbox One, Project Scorpio, and PC. Europe will be getting the game days later on the 25th of August—we till this day are uncertain if the game will launch on the Scorpio, the game has been confirmed for the upcoming console—could this mean the Scorpio is possibly looking at a July or August release?
