Publisher and developer 2K announced this year’s NBA 2K18 — and as a special year for one iconic NBA player, this year we’re introduced to a Legend Edtion & Legend Edition Gold. The Shaq Fu himself Shaquille O’Neal who’s has dominated the NBA scene for about 20 years now has received his honorable persona on the cover of this year’s game. This marks the third time Mr. O’Neal grace the cover of a 2K game—his previous being 2K6 and 2K7.

Both editions will become available both digitally and physically for PS4, and Xbox One. However, for the Nintendo Switch version, the game will only be available physically. 2K have announced that there more pending features to be announced one the reveal cover player is made public for the Standard Copy. 2K usually announces who’ll be featured on the cover once the NBA Finals are finished. Pre-ordering the game one PS4 will grant you with a new PlayStation Theme—which as of now has not been revealed.

NBA 2K18 launches on September 19th, for PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. By purchasing any one of the Legend Editions—you will granted the chance to play early on Sept. 15th.
