Microsoft has announced that they’ll be releasing a new Xbox One console bundle on November 3rd. With this bundles comes a Xbox One Elite Controller and a 1TB Hybrid SSHD Drive.
We got word about the elite controller a few months ago so this is nothing new, but the new hard drive is something that will be exclusive to this console for the time being. The new drive is a hybrid SSHD, meaning one part of the drive is a standard hard drive and the other is a solid state hard drive.
With this new drive coming in the elite Xbox One I could see the Xbox moving at the speed of light and it would only make sense to store the operating system on the SSD to give it the snappiness it’s been missing.
The bundle will cost $499, only $100 more than the current Xbox one that is out right now. Remember November 3rd is when you can get your hands on this either from Microsoft or GameStop but there will be more details soon.
