Well, sort of…

A company by the name of Retro-Bit have showcased their version of the Original Nintendo Game Boy at this past CES 2017 event that took place late last week. Named the Super Retro Boy, it’s not exactly a clone per-say, the company describes it as a hardware that captures the soul of the original Gameboy.

The Retro Boy would allow the playability¬†of classic Gameboy games from the Original, Color, and Advance cartridges. So if you have your old Gameboy games laying around your house, its best to keep them around come the release of the Retro Boy. It’ll also be coming in two separate colors, one reminiscent to the original Gameboy hardware color, and a black and red paint (pictures below).

The Retro Boy makes its way onto stores this August for the price tag of $80.
