Head of Xbox, Phil Spencer, has said that he is thinking “beyond” the Xbox One vs PS4 battle, in his recent interview with Game Industry.
Phil said that his mind was not set on outselling, or overpowering the PS4, instead his mind was on other “things”. When he says “things”, he said that he was talking about some of the brand new Xbox Live features that allow you to create clubs, among other new additions, which are basically just like the communities on PlayStation 4. These clubs allow you to find players that are interested in the same game/topic as you, or find players that want someone new to play the game with. Another feature that comes under his branch of “things” is the brand new system, where you can buy a digital game on the Xbox One, you receive a free copy of the title on Windows 10. This new system is called Play Anywhere.
