The latest update for Pokemon GO is quite the extraordinary, although we’re not introduced to new Pokemon, Niantic is taking advantage of iOS 11’s advanced augmented reality tech. This means will get to see our favorite Pokemon with better-enhanced visuals and dynamics, an example of this is a real-life scale Charizard roaming around your town or city, many Pokemon will be based on their size and lengths. However, this new update will only serve those who obtain the app on their iPhone 6s or newer.

What we do know is that players will also have to sneak up to Pokemon in order to capture them, this meaning if you’re in AR+ mode.

Niantic has said that if you’re quick enough you’ll be able to earn capture bonus points with each creature. The only downside to the entire update is that the use of AR tech on a phone incredibly kills your battery life—so the question is….how bad do you want that catch or capture?

There are videos on Youtube that have tested out this feature if your curious for an example.
