Looks Like Nothing Is Safe These Days
Update: This leak didn’t even last a day quite possibly. Looks like the images and video that surfaced on the leaked PS4 Slim are all real. An article by the Wall Street Journal confirmed that Sony is planning to announce the upgraded console version along with a release date. These aren’t the only leaks that have been brought to light, there’s now rumors of a new handheld device soon to be announced by Sony.
A USB Adapter for the Dualshock 4 has also appeared on Amazon France. This device is seen with a release date of September 15th.
Fall is right around the corner and we all know what that means, ‘fall game releases’. However, this season looks to be more than just anticipated title launches. We’ve already had the Xbox One S make its debut earlier this month, and now from the looks of it, we could be receiving a Playstation 4 Slim pretty soon. Now this all could be determined from the upcoming Sony meeting taking place in September. Many analysts expect Sony to announce both the PS4 Neo and the PS4 Slim along with the slim’s release date.
Leaked photos surfaced online this weekend of what could be the official model of the Slim, and I must say it looks pretty legit. Analysts could hint that the images don’t show a broader look at the system – and they’re correct. The photos do show a nice look at what could be the Playstation 4 Slim. However, nothing is official as of yet.
Here are the leaked images: (Photos uploaded through NeoGaf). A video did surface of the machine booting up, however, moments after being uploaded it was taken down. This could mean we’re likely seeing the real deal, and a release date could be closer than we think.
