Publisher Bethesda and developer id Software announced that the closed beta sign-ups are now open for Quake Champions
Announced back at E3 2016 during Bethesda’s press conference, a fast-paced arena-based shooter, QC expects to be the first main entry in the Quake series since the 4th game back in 2005. In order to sign up for the closed beta—which is slated to begin in the “coming weeks”—head on over to the game’s main site, confirm your age, provide your email, and you’re all set.
Bethesda also announced the game will be present at this week’s PAX East 2017, from March 10 to 12. Attendees will get the first chance in playing the game at its show floor booth. The game will be being revealed tomorrow, the game will start its Champion profiles with a brand new trailer focused on the character Nyx, and on Thursday, the first arena; Blood Covenant will also be showcased. Quake Champions is slated for a release sometime in 2017. From what it appears, the game looks to be featured solely on the PC, however, console versions are still not out of the question.
