Capcom’s Resident Evil has been scaring the socks off players for many years, and the upcoming Resident Evil 7: Biohazard looks to continue that trend. The Season Pass for the new game is already available to buy from the Steam Store, in anticipation of the games full release on the 24th January.
The very successful demo version that released last year has given us a glimpse into the return to the extremely atmospheric survival-horror style that made the franchise such a success to begin with, moving away from the gun blasting action of the last few games in the series. The Season Pass which will add content to the full title could prove to bring even more suspense and danger to the already suspenseful and danger filled game.
The Season Pass will include the DLC Banned Footage 1, Banned Footage 2 and an Additional Story Episode, all of which will be made available before the end of 2017
Resident Evil 7: Biohazard takes a claustrophobic first-person view of modern day rural America, and promises to ramp up the tension as you delve deeper into the mysteries surrounding an abandoned southern farm-house.
The full game launches on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 as well as the terrifying prospect of playing via the PSVR from January 24th. You can pre-order your copy now for around $60/£42 for consoles and $42/£35 on PC. The Season pass can be pre-ordered as part of the Deluxe Edition of the game which will cost slightly more.
