Looks like the phenomenon that is Rocket League will be getting a new Autumn Update along with brand new features that’ll be introduced in the game’s numerous arenas. Developer Psyonix that the upcoming Autumn Update which not only serves as a new Fall season look for many of the arenas in Rocket League, it’ll also introduce new customizable player banners, transparent goalposts, and more than 90 new free customization items.
We now know that many of the game’s arenas will receive minor tweaks, such as Starbase Arc, which will be standardized to allow for a better competitive and fun experience. A new item called the “Decryptor” will also be introduced, this will allow players to open crates without purchasing a key. See the video down below to get the full scoop of what to expect.
The Update is set to launch on September 28th.
Rocket League is available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC—later this year the game will be making its way onto the Nintendo Switch, as of yet Nintendo are still to announce a launch date. Psyonix are still planning for two major updates late this year that includes a new party system in which PC players will be able to test in a scheduled beta, and a new tournament system that allows for private customizable tournaments between friends.
