After the headlines were made public of Rockstar expecting to reveal upcoming titles “sometime soon”. During their latest earnings call, Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick mentioned that video game developer & publisher Rockstar Games will release new upcoming titles, however not in this fiscal year, which ends in March 2017. If any new titles are to come out from Rockstar, April 2017 and beyond is out best bet. For now, we wait for what Take-Two announces at E3.
Rockstar Games announcing new upcoming titles could be the happiest time for any gamer. Even more with the growing speculation of a possible Red Dead Redemption being announced sometime soon. parent company Take-Two Interactive took to twitter to affirm earlier today, that they’re hard at work and pumped to showcase their new upcoming titles.
“Rockstar Games is of course hard at work on some exciting future projects that will be revealed soon,”
Take-Two Interactive and Rockstar did not share more details in regards to the titles set to be announced soon. In addition, Take-Two President Karl Slatoff did mention during an earnings call that the company is working on a new IP, with that being said it’s unclear if Rockstar Games is working on a new IP. Earlier this year Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick did state their company having big plans for this year’s E3 convention. This news has generated an enormous amount of speculation that a Red Dead Redemption sequel is perhaps set to be announced at E3. Rockstar Games are famously known for not participating in the E3 event, however, Take-Two Interactive have been their lead developers and they’re sure to be at the year’s gaming convention.
The Electronic Entertainment Expo is set to begin on June 14th to the 16th.
