The one-man gaming studio Wizard Fu by Nathan Weiss is pleased to see the launch of his dream project game — Songbringer — which hit consoles and PC today. This wonderful pixelated retro-looking game has all the gems you’re looking for in an indie title.

The game places you through 10 numbered dungeons in which you fight your way through, each set with their own difficulty, the further you continue, the further it gets tough. Throughout your journey, you’ll need to collect weapons and other goodies—eat hallucinogenic cacti to boost your fighting skills which also refills a good portion of your health while making everything you see turn…..well you know, a trip. We also get a robot companion on our journey who also serves as the game’s second player.

The game goes for $19.99 across all available platforms (PS4, Xbox One, PC). The Xbox One and PC version will both be compatible, so the chance of cross-play is an option. See the game’s official launch trailer down below:
