One of the world’s biggest flash memory manufacturer SanDisk has just announced its biggest microSD card to hit the market next month. SanDisk’s newest microSD card will use a whopping 400GB, making it the most powerful microSD card to date, the only down size is its asking price of $249.99.
This new microSD with adapter will set you good for 35 hours of full HD video capturing. It’ll also come up with 100MB/s transfer speeds, meaning one will be able to move up to 1,200 photos in a single minute.
The company has made it clear that this new card is simply catering towards high-end cameras, drones, GoPro, and gaming console owners. So in retrospect, it’s a pretty nice investment one will be making if you’re looking to really update your standard card for something that’ll come reliably good in the long haul.
For someone who’s thinking of picking up a Nintendo Switch pretty soon—although pricey—this card will no doubt come in handy for those looking to store tons of games onto their Switch—I know I am.
