On May 4th, Star Wars Day the DICE developers gave us some more information on the highly anticipated Star Wars: Battlefront.
DICE announced that there will be 12 multiplayer maps on the game and they stated this in their post on the EA Star Wars website.
The full list was not announced yet but they did mention the name of three maps. These maps are familiar places like Endor and Hoth, and also a new map Sullust which was in the Star Wars fiction but it was never fully explored.
The DICE developers took a trip to Iceland to help create the map Sullust and help them make the map as detailed as possible. Some of the maps will cater to the 40-player Walker Assault mode, but there will also be maps that are created for close-quaters combat.
Battlefront will be released November 17 for Xbox one, Playstation 4, and PC.
