With Summer time officially here, gamers all across the globe are tuning into one of the two events feature yearly that’s of the Summer Games Done Quick 2017. Players from all lands gather in one place with the game they’ve registered to speedrun and hopefully maintain a new World Record in the process.

The event is led by the Speed Demos Archive who approves speedrunners months prior to the event to showcase their run during the 1-week event. Most importantly the event is also a part of a donation run to support Doctors Without Borders with last year donations breaking a whopping $1.3 million in contributions—and as with every year, hoping that number grows.

As of now, tons of games have been speedrunned, games such as Halo: Combat Evolved, Luigi’s Mansion, Mirror’s Edge, and tons more on the way. Summer Games Done Quick 2017 is currently under way from now til Sunday (July 9th). See the livestream down below for the complete show—to learn more on the event head on down to the event’s official page.
