Today, on Irrelevant Gamer, we look at 5 of the best tech/gaming deals of the week.

Note: These are in no particular order!

The first item on this week’s list is Battlefield Hardline Getaway. Getaway is the third expansion in Battlefield Hardline’s series. It adds 4 new “vehicle-focused maps,” 4 new vehicles, 4 new weapons, 4 new weapon camos and more. Getaway is available for free for anyone on the Xbox 360 or the Xbox One that has a subscription to Xbox Live Gold. With a usual price of $14,99, this is an absolute steal for anyone that is a fan of Battlefield Hardline, and wants to play more. You can find out more information here: Xbox Live Store.

“Battlefield™ Hardline: Getaway is the third of four expansion packs included in Battlefield ™ Hardline Premium, and available as a standalone purchase. Getaway introduces 4 new vehicle-focused maps, including Double Cross, Pacific Highway, Train Dodge, and Diversion, and the new Capture the Bag mode. Compete in competitive matches with the new Super Feature, all while using one of the 4 new vehicles (Performance Sedan, Import Tuner, Luxury Coupe, Limo), 4 new weapons, the Fire Axe melee weapon, the RF Jammer gadget, and 4 new weapon camos.”

The next item on today’s list is Battleborn. Battleborn is one of those games that you just can’t get enough of, in my opinion. With 25 unique playable heroes, Battleborn is sure to not get you bored anytime soon. It is currently on sale on the Xbox Store for $38.99 if you have a Gold Membership, but there’s an even better deal on play-asia.com It is only $17.99 on there, which is a saving of 70% from the original list price. The offer expires in around 6 days of writing this, and I predict that many people will be grabbing this deal, so I recommend you go and buy yours as soon as possible.

Coming in at number three is the SteelSeries qcK Themed Gaming Mouse Pads. These bad boys are an amazing option for anyone into using PCs for gaming or for general use. With features such as a smooth cloth surface, steady rubber base, XL size and overall great value, it’s not hard to see why the SteelSeries QcK gaming mouse pad is a best seller on Amazon. It is currently on a sale of 21% off on Amazon, so this is the prime time to go and pick it up.

The penultimate item on today’s list is the Mackie CR4 4″ 50W Creative Reference Multimedia Monitor Speakers (Pair). The Mackie 4″ speakers are definitely one of the best items on this list. With a professional, studio quality design, a 50-Watt integrated amplifier and an “Ultrawide frequency range” of 80Hz – 20kHz, these are definitely speakers that anyone looking to have some professional budget monitor speakers in their home/studio should have. The speakers also come with two acoustic isolation pads to make your listening experience much more enjoyable. On Amazon, the Mackie 4″s have a user rating of 4.4/5 stars from over 570 reviews, which absolutely seals the deal for me. You can pick these epic speakers up for only $114.99, 23% off the original price of $149.99, here.

There are two more Mackie speakers on sale on that website, these are:
Mackie CR3 3″ 50W Creative Reference Multimedia Monitors (Pair)
Mackie CR5BT 5″ 50w Multimedia Monitor with Bluetooth (Pair)

Finally, we have the Microsoft Xbox One Wireless Controller + PC Cable as our final item of this week. We all know that most people prefer to play many PC games using their keyboard and mouse, which is why most people choose to join the PC Masterrace rather than being a console peasant, but there are a few gamers out there that would much rather play on a game pad. The most popular of those being the Xbox Controller. These usually retail for around $59.99, but you can find them here for the small, small price of $38.99.
