Just months after the release of the Assassin’s Creed motion picture, Ubisoft isn’t pulling its live-action breaks just there. Looks like the beloved game series will be getting yet another live-action adaptation sometime in the future.

Assassin’s Creed Head of Content Ymar Azaiza recently held an AMA thread on Reddit, there he revealed the possible plans to produce a television series, set in the franchise’s universe. Azaiza said “We will take our time to get sure we deliver something we can be proud of”. As of now, Ubisoft has confirmed no such project, however, CEO of the company Yves Guillemot and Netflix did meet for a discussion last year, perhaps for this exact project.

Would it air on Netflix? I believe it’s too early to tell, just note that Ubisoft does have plans in branching out into other projects that aren’t video games. No too long ago, we learned that The Division will be getting a movie adaptation starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Jessica Chastain.

A TV show does sound fitting for the AC universe, seeing an 8 or 13 episodic season with familiar characters, set sometime in history does sound intriguing. If any more related news is revealed by Ubisoft we’ll be sure to let you know.
