Today, the Uncharted 4 Multiplayer Weekend opens. This is thought to be a stress test as well as being some type of advertisement for Uncharted 4.
The Multiplayer Beta is available to play for anyone that has either Xbox Live or PlayStation Plus. Once downloaded, you can open up the game and you are greeted with a pleasant tutorial against some easy bots. This tutorial is nothing special, but gives you a rundown of everything you need to know about the game.
There are only 6 preset loadouts available ranging from Assault – Mid Range Combat – to Recon – Very Long Range Combat. This means there is something for almost everyone at the start of the game. If you don’t like the classes, or just want to mix and match, you can customise your own loadout. This is where you choose all of your Guns, purchasables and Boosters.
Once that’s done, it’s time to get to a game. TDM is the only game mode currently available. There are 5 characters to choose from, and which choices you have, depends on which team you are on. As you enter the game, you will see different things on your mini map. Some of these include items that are worth money. In Uncharted 4, you can use money to buy your purchasables. These include sidekicks that help you out and more health packs. These are key to your success in TDM.
I could go into a lot more depth about Uncharted 4, but I am saving that until the main game comes out as I will be doing a full review here on Irrelevant Gamer.
Once the Multiplayer Weekend finishes, the diehard Uncharted fans will have a long time to wait as Uncharted 4 has been delayed once again. You can find out more here:
